A calmer space for students at Fairfax Academy

A calmer space for students at Fairfax Academy

The need
Students needed a dedicated space to support their emotional wellbeing and help them manage the demands of the school day.
Our support
The Trust provided a £39,600 grant towards the academy’s Social, Emotional and Mental Health centre, including sensory facilities, quiet study pods and furniture.
The difference it made
Students have a space to pause, reset and receive support before returning to learning. The centre gives the school another way to help pupils participate in education.
